TryToAct Twitch partner streamers: streams, clips and visibility
TryToAct is launching a Twitch partner program for streamers. The idea is a visibility swap: streamers go live and make clips with the game, and we feature them on the site with their own nameplate, their stream on the lobby TV and a spot on the partners board.
What is the Twitch partner program?
TryToAct has grown thanks to streamers from day one. When French streamer Linca played it during ZEvent, France's biggest charity stream, or when Anyme smashed our visitor record, thousands of viewers discovered dubbing with friends live. The Partner streamer program makes that bond official with the creators who play TryToAct regularly.
It fits in one sentence: it is a visibility swap. Partner streamers go live and make clips with TryToAct, and in return TryToAct features them right on the site and in the game. Each side introduces the other to its community.
What partner streamers do
On the streamer side, the commitment is simple and true to the spirit of the game:
• Streams on TryToAct: dubbing sessions with their chat, their friends or other streamers, solo or in multiplayer.
• Clips: the best dubbing moments (and the biggest laughing fits) shared on Twitch, TikTok or YouTube Shorts. Twitch explains how to make a clip in a few seconds.
• Talking about the game with their community, so viewers can come and try TryToAct for free in their browser.
What TryToAct offers in return
For its part, TryToAct features its partners in three highly visible places on the site.
1. The "Partner streamer" nameplate
Every player has a nameplate on their seat in the multiplayer lobby. For a partner, it becomes an animated purple Twitch plate that alternates between "PARTNER STREAMER" and their username. Every player sharing the lobby with them sees it. On the leaderboard, a Twitch logo also appears next to their name.
It works a bit like the star you can earn by publishing your dubs: a badge everyone in the lobby notices right away.
2. Their stream on the lobby TV
There is a TV on the wall of the multiplayer lobby. When no partner is live, it plays a TryToAct video. But as soon as a partner streamer goes live on Twitch, their stream automatically replaces the video on the TV, in Twitch's official player.
If several partners are live at once, the TV switches from one to the next every minute, starting with the one with the most viewers. So every player waiting for a game to start lands on a partner's stream, and can open their channel in one click.
3. Their name on the partners board
Next to the TV, a big "Twitch partners" board lists every partner streamer with their Twitch profile picture. Each row links straight to their channel. Partners who are live move to the top of the list with a red LIVE badge, so players know right away who is streaming now.
TryToAct's partner streamers
Here are the creators in the program today. They stream in French: drop by their channels, follow them and come dub with them.
The list grows with each new partnership, and the lobby board is always up to date.
Why a visibility swap?
TryToAct is a free dubbing game you play with others: watching other people dub iconic movie scenes is what makes you want to try it. Streams and clips are the best way to introduce the game.
Streamers, for their part, get a permanent showcase in front of players who already love interactive content and nights in with friends. A player who discovers a partner on the lobby TV can become a new viewer, and a viewer who catches a TryToAct stream can become a new player. Everybody wins.
How do I become a partner streamer?
Do you stream on Twitch and want to play TryToAct with your community? Start by creating your account with Twitch sign-in (your Twitch profile picture will be used on the partners board), then play a few games live.
Then reach out on our Discord server or by email at [email protected] with a link to your channel. We switch on partner status on our side, and your nameplate, your spot on the board and your stream on the TV go live right away.
